Noticeboard

The Practice is taking part in an important national project about diabetes care and treatment in the NHS and the project is called the National Diabetes Audit (NDA)

If you have diabetes and want more information or if you do not want your information to be used please contact the surgery.

SMS Text Messaging

The Practice is introducing the use of text messaging as another form of communication.

SMS Text messaging is now a well-used method of communication, and the practice feels that embracing this method will enhance the service we offer to our patients by engaging with them in a more efficient and accessible way. Our aim is to benefit both the practice and patients in delivering our services more effectively.

This will allow the practice to send out information such as appointment reminders, recalls in relation to health reviews, flu campaigns, pathology results and more.

If you would like to be included in the process then please either click the link below to read our conditions and download our consent form or call into the Surgery and speak to one of our Reception Team.

General Data Protection Regulations – The Practice now requires written consent for you to nominate a person to collect your prescription or discuss your medical care (please ask for a consent form).

You can ask for a repeat prescription by calling into the surgery when it is open, or by placing your request in the Repeat Prescription Box located in the waiting area, or call our dedicated telephone line 01262 400757.  The line is open between 9.15am and 12.00 noon Monday to Friday.

You can order your Repeat Prescription on line by using the Systmone Online Repeat prescription ordering service accessed at the bottom of this page. You will need to call into the surgery and obtain your username and password from the receptionist.

Please Note:   You are only able to order medication that is currently on your repeat prescribing list.  A list of this medication is printed on the right hand side of your prescription which you retain prior to handing over to the pharmacy.   Please do not make any requests for other medicines this way or your request will be denied and you will not be able to order any further repeat medication using the on line facility.

IF YOU ORDER YOUR REPEAT MEDICATION BEFORE IT IS DUE THEN UNFORTUNATELY WE WILL BE UNABLE TO ISSUE IT.

If you need your medication early because you are going on holiday then please telephone the repeat prescription line and speak to one of the receptionists.

Please allow at least 2 working days (48 hours) before arranging to collect your prescription

All prescriptions are reviewed regularly. Once the review date is reached, you will need to make an appointment with the Doctor for a medication review before any further prescriptions can be issued

Many pharmacies will collect and deliver your Prescription to you at home. You will need to approach them yourself about this service.

From time to time your Doctor will need to review your repeat medication. The receptionist will then ask you to make an appointment to see the Doctor.

Our new prescription service is now up and running. If you have registered for this service by obtaining a username and password from the Practice, then click here to be taken to the new system.
